| We use a special resistor (shunt), which is mounted in the main line See picture. The resistance is 0.001 ohms. De maximum current, allowed through the shunt is 50 Amps, sothat the voltage over the resistant is 50 mV (Ohm's law). |

Rule of thump: Keep your voltage above 12.8 V Switch position 1: monitor the voltage of the battery. Switch position 2: monitor the current.
